Munnar

Munnar is a magnificent hill station in Kerala. Located at an altitude of 1600 feet above the sea level and at the gathering of three mountain streams – Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala, it has been become a main tourist spot of Kerala because of its incomparable climatic conditions. This small town is situated on Kannan Devan Hills village in Devikulam. Munnar is rich with its tea grdens, spice plantations and pristine landscapes. Mild and pleasing climate throughout the year and misty mornings give an uncommon experience to the visitors. The temperature in December and January variesfrom 10 degree to 15 degree. Eravikulam National Park, Anamudi Peak, Mattupetti, Pallivasal, Chinnakanal and Anayirangal are the other interesting tourist spots in Munnar.
