Kovalam, known as “Paradise of the South” is located in Thiruvananthapuram district in Kerala. It is the most popular beach in Kerala and favourite tourist spot of westerners due to shallow water and low tidal waves. Kovalam beach is the combination of 3 beaches – Lighthouse beach, Hawah beach and and Samudra beach separated by rocky outcroppings.
